cherry blossom tree on the street sidewalk. Japan is always so detailed.

A very nice lush park during the summer months, with a great view of Kofu(capital of Yamanashi prefecture). A nice place to go for a stroll with your little one.

There are some days where I feel like life is just a bit too slow here in Yamanashi and wish I could live elsewhere, but every time I come to this park that thought slowly fades away as I walk whilst admiring Mt Fuji from afar. So yes, this park is pretty darn special. And it is exceptionally beautiful during spring with all the flowers in bloom.

Yesterday my family and I took a short trip out to Kawaguchiko for a relaxing picnic by the lake. When we left home the weather was warm and sunny, definitely picnic weather. However, as we arrived at Kawaguchiko the weather dramatically changed from sunny to gloomy, and about 15 minutes into our picnic it began to rain ― gotta love mothernature. So we quickly packed up our belongings and went Cisco Cafe(just down the road) for a hot drink. I ordered a hot chai latte. It was quite good, the sweetness level was perfect but would’ve been better if the spices were a bit stronger in flavor. But that’s just me- I’m all about the spices.
